Executive Board

Dr. Amira Annabi is an Associate Professor of Finance at Manhattan College in New York. She earned a Ph.D. in Finance from HEC Montreal, an MSc in Financial Engineering from HEC Montreal, and a BSc from Institut Superieur de Gestion in Tunis. Her academic research interests include the interplay between bankruptcy laws and capital structure decisions, the impact of financial regulation on banks’ performance, and the drivers of financial literacy among young adults. 

Liam is a senior economics and finance major, who has been a member of the club for four years. His recent internship experience was at Rabobank as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst. Liam is working on monetary policy and investment banking research with Dr. Annabi and competes in the CFA research challenge with Dr. Zhang. His interest include reading, chess, and studying economics, history, and politics.

Luke is a senior finance major with minors in business analytics and economics, who has been a member of the club for four years. His recent internship experience was at Phoenix Financial Services as a Junior Broker. Luke is working on investing in emerging markets research with Dr. Annabi and competes in the CFA research challenge with Dr. Zhang. His interest include reading, rowing, and running.

Julianna is a senior finance major with a minor in Math, who has been a member of the club for four years. Her recent internship experience was at New York Life Insurance as a Corporate Finance Intern. After graduation Julianna is interested in pursuing a masters degree in Law or Mathematics. Her interest include exploring NYC, playing sports, and spending time with friends and family.

Giovanni is a senior economics major with a minor in computer science, who has been a member of the club for four years. His recent internship experience was at Ponce Bank as a MWB Secondary Market Intern. Giovanni is working on federal reserve and taylor rule research with Dr. Guirguis and competes in the FED challenge also with Dr. Guirguis. His interest include physics, reading, and chess.

Sean is a senior finance major, who has been a member of the club for four years. As CIO, Sean works to balance the portfolio through turbulent economic cycle, while also focusing on long term growth. His interest include attending sports games, studying macroeconomic indicators, and reading about global events

Christian is a senior finance major, who has been a member of the club for two years. His recent internship experience was at TIAA as a Client Relationships, Product, and Business Development Intern. Christian competes in the CFA challenge with Dr. Zhang. His interest include fashion, soccer, and finding the best deli sandwich.

Eleda is a junior business analytics major with an environmental economics minor , who has been a member of the club for two years. In her role, Eleda facilitates club growth through technology innovation. Additionally, she monitors investment holdings to evaluate their ESG profile. Eleda is a member of Beta Alpha Psi and VP of the business school on student council. Her interest include travel, playing guitar, and reading.
